The CMI Board welcomes Robert Legett from the Arkansas Department of Corrections as the new CMI Board Member elect. Robert's term begins January 1, 2008.

CMI also wishes a fond farewell to Doug Hanson as he steps down as trustee. Doug has served the board as chairman, has hosted the 2006 conference in Omaha, and has been a guiding force in the development of CMI.  Doug plans to stay active with CMI and we all look forward to being together with Doug at the 2008 conference.

Full membership in CMI is restricted to only public employees who are actively involved with criminal justice construction and maintenance. These agencies may be federal, state, or local. However, non-public employees such as vendors, architects, engineers, or individuals with an interest in construction or maintenance of criminal justice facilities may obtain an "affiliate" membership.
